Blooming In Transit is a flower store in flux, run by Grandmother and her novice granddaughter. A hidden shop that has been running through the city for many many years, but known by only a few.  

Grandmother is not only a florist, but also a curator of life stories. A flower contains a world of its own - and so do the people who appreciate her flowers. She treasures the stories of all the regulars who managed to visit her shop, and records them in a shop journal.

It is a serendipitous encounter through Hong Kong’s cityscape - collectively built up with obscure stories of people who have silently dedicated all their lives perfecting their own crafts. Countless stories of laughter and tears, curated by a moving flower store, and brought to life by an immersive theatrical experience.  

As the Tram leaves Whitty Street Depot, guests will gather a bouquet among the vibrant flowers on deck - nameless, until somebody walks in, picks them up, and gives them meaning with a story. A scenery as multifarious as the city itself.
